But , prior to step out you’ll have to pick up the top kit. We’ve tested out and about some of the finest racquets on the market today, from the biggest names, and all sorts of the best ones are on the following pages. Whether you aren’t a baseline hitter, hard hardware or pacy net person, we’ve got something for you.

Regarding you choice: Prince Textreme selection

Can a tennis racket make you a better player? Effectively, probably not. But it can definitely make any difference. Prince is hoping digging in some clever tech for you to its latest range will be better your game, so we dusted off of our court shoes, loaded a bottle with Robinson’s squash and hit typically the courts to test them out and about.

What sets these brand-new racquets out from crowd could be the addition of Textreme from the shaft – it’s likely to keep the weight down, still add strength. The carbon-fibre material has been used in F1 cars, racing bikes etc ., but this is the first time is considered been utilised in a playing golf racquet. It seems to work way too, the racquets are properly weighted and feel wonderful in the hand. We don’t suddenly begin hitting backhands like Federer and offering as fast as A-rod though, sadly. Looks like most of us be watching Wimbledon from the lounge again.

There are four racquets in the new line rapid the light Tour 100, the huge headed Tour 95, typically the Warrior 107 and each of our personal favourite, the Enthusiast 107T. Depending on your style involving play, whether you are a heavy standard hitter or a speedy net-player, it seems like Prince has you coated. We found the 107T to have the perfect mix of every little thing – it was light plenty of, but we could still placed plenty of power into each of our shots. Each version has also a revamped ‘butt’ rapid or the bottom bit of typically the racquet, which can be removed permitting you to slip in one of Sony’s clever shot tracking Clever Tennis Sensors.

Best for self-improvement: Babolat Play

Motion sensors find how hard you hit, precisely how close to the sweet spot you will be and what shots you should work towards. Charged by micro HARDWARE ad storing up to one humdred and fifty hours of data, it syncs via Bluetooth to an Android mobile phone or iOS app to match stats with local only ones best and pros like Wci??.

Best for Spin: Wilson Expert Staff 100LS

Spin is amongst the hardest aspects of tennis to get down, but this racquet via Wilson should make issues a lot easier. With Spin Influence Technology, the ball receives spin even if you’ve not quite mastered the technique, plus the 16×15 string pattern is fantastic for a strong thwack every time. Furthermore, the frame is also excellent light, made from a combination of braided graphite and kevlar. On this in your bag, you’ll be typically the envy of the clubhouse.

Regarding you Speed: Head Graphene Rate Pro 18/20

Djokovic’s racket of choice is up next, plus it boasts a frame integrating Graphene, a metal with a smashing strength 200 times over steel. It’s pretty much indesctructable, and super light way too, meaning you’ll be running around individuals balls quicker than you know “ace”. The majority of the frame’s fat is also in the grip, and so you’re always in control. Ignore taming your sporty out and out aggression – unleash it on this beast.

Best for Comfort: Dictator Premier 105

Prince have become all-out on their latest type to make your life that little easier when dominating typically the court. With a sweet location more than 1 . 5 times how big is Prince’s last effort, typically the Premier is also equipped with Two times Bridge technology, the only one on the globe that reduces vibration inside your strings and structure. Those epic matches instantly don’t seem so daunting.

Regarding you all-rounders: Dunlop Biomimetic 4000 Tour

Dunlop have made their very own name with solid, reputable racquest, and the Biomimetic isn’t any different. It’s pumped rich in technology, from the Cx technique which makes the head more aerophysical, to the Anatomic construction on the grip, providing enhanced stableness and control. Specially made action-friction grommets reduce the chaffing between strings and the structure, so you can go longer and reach harder without fear of your own personal racquet giving up before you do.

Regarding you fast learners: Yonex VCore Tour G

Yonex get broken the rules of playing golf with the VCore, by making typically the frame distinctly oval compared to the traditionally rounder shape. They have already also injected their racket with high density foam, soaking up more vibrations than ever before, which results in an effortless swing. On top of everything that, its spin and electrical power capacity is second to non-e, and so you’ll be Murry-level in no time. Almost certainly.

October 29th, 2008World #1 Rafael Nadal and Juan Monaco defeated Mark and Mahesh 6-4, 6-2 in the 2nd round of the BNP Paris Masters. It was a tough match and Monaco/Nadal did well on their service games. Mark will now head back home for a few days of rest, and then will fly to Shanghai to prepare for the Masters Cup.

October 25th, 2008Another solid win in Basel put Mark and Mahesh into another final, as they defeated Acasuso/Calleri 7-5, 6-2. After an up and down first set, the boys managed to squeak out with a late break. They worked out any kinks they may have had in the 2nd set, breaking to go up 4-2, and then again to close out the match. It’s the 2nd straight year Mark has made the final, so let’s hope this year equates to a title. Who they will face in the final will be determined later today.

October 24th, 2008

It’s worth noting that Mark and Mahesh are the only seeded team to advance to the semifinal stage of the tournament.
October 23rd, 2008

A quick, easy match was what exactly Mark and Mahesh needed in the 1st round of Basel. After coming off a final in Madrid, and a four day break, the two came out on fire today against Granollers/Lopez, breezing past the Spanish pairing 6-4, 6-1. The match lasted just 52 minutes and Mark and Mahesh returned extremely well, especially in the 2nd set, as they won 52% of the return points and earned two breaks of service. The opponents in the quarterfinals will be Kerr/Nieminen and that will be played tomorrow.
October 19th, 2008

The run to the Madrid final ended in slight disappointment, as Mark and Mahesh were unable to finish off a strong week with the title. Fyrstenberg/Matkowski were on fire throughout the entire match and earned the victory, which was their first Masters Series title. They took the match 6-4, 6-2 and really pressured Mark and Mahesh on serve. Still, it was a great week for Mark and Mahesh and the run to the final clinched a spot for the year end Masters Cup, so congratulations to Mark and Mahesh on that achievement! The result also saw Mahesh’s ranking vault to #7.

Mark and Mahesh turn to Basel, Switzerland now, where they are the #2 seeded team. They face Granollers/Lopez in the first round.
October 18th, 2008

Our guys stayed strong though, and clawed back from 0-30 in the final game to win the match. They’ll square off against the Polish team of Fyrstenberg/Matkowski and look for their 3rd title of the year.
October 17th, 2008

Mark and Hesh also saved all five break points that they faced. They’ll face Bjorkman/Ullyett in the semifinals. The duo upset the #1 team, the Bryan Brothers in the quarterfinals.
October 15th, 2008

A walkover courtesy of Moya/Nadal has put Mark and Mahesh through to the quarterfinals of AMS Madrid. Nadal is nursing a sore upper thigh.
October 12th, 2008

The draw has been released in Madrid and Mark and Mahesh enjoy a first round bye as the number four seeds. However, their first match won’t be easy, no matter who survives the first round. They’ll face either world #1 in singles Rafael Nadal, who is partnering Carlos Moya, or American tandem and friends James Blake and Mardy Fish, who upset Mark and Mahesh earlier this year in Hamburg. It will be a tough task indeed, but the guys should feel confident coming off a semifinal performance in Vienna. The full draw can be viewed

October 11th, 2008The run in Vienna is over. Mirnyi/Ram came back from a set down to take a three setter against Mark and Mahesh in the semifinals. Mirnyi/Ram, a maiden pairing, improved their play drastically after losing the first set handily and went on to take the match in a closely contested champions tiebreaker. They won 2-6, 6-3, 10-8. Next up for Mark and Mahesh is the Madrid Masters.

October 10th, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving to all of Mark’s fans in the United States! Here is a message from Mark about winning the Masters Cup and what to look forward to next year. Please remember to voice your support by joining the forums and/or by signing the guestbook. Mark will be hosting his 7th Charity Invitational, which runs from December 7th-9th.

“This title is one of the big ones that have eluded us in the past, and to win it was so satisfying. We played a high level of tennis, probably our best all year and that goes to show what a great team we are. I think mine and Dan’s accomplishments, our record, will speak for itself in the record books. We are one of the greatest doubles teams to ever play the game. There are a lot of teams out there that are quite happy that Knowles and Nestor are not playing together anymore.”

“I also believe that when one door closes another opens and I’m excited to play with my new partner Mahesh Bhuphati in the New Year. He is an experienced Champion and former #1 in the world. We are going to having a great time!”

Mark and Daniel played one of their best matches of the year and easily defeated Aspelin/Knowle 6-2, 6-3 to win their first Masters Cup title in three tries. This win caps an amazing 13 year partnership. What a way to go out! Congrats to both on a successful season. A big thank you to Kaye Yang for all of her wonderful post match photos. Here are a few from the champions press conference!

Mark and his wife Dawn were featured in the ATP Magazine Deuce! The article provided a challenge. It was to see if Mark and Daniel knew each other better than their wives did. Who won? The longtime partners or the wives? Check it out here!

Lukas Dlouhy and Pavel Vizner knocked Mark and Daniel out of the US Open with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. The loss marks the end of the currently longest active partnership in tennis. This was the final regular season tournament that Mark and Daniel were playing together. They still have the Masters Cup at the end of the year but now they will look to move their separate ways and try and find success with new partners.

Mark and Zi Yan lost their mixed doubles semifinal to Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka 7-6, 6-4. They had a chance to serve out the first set but did not capitalize.

Hats off to Mark and Daniel for a stellar career together. Hopefully they will remain the close friends that they are. They will now move their separate ways and best of luck to both of them in their careers. Mark is going to play with Bhupathi at the Madrid and Paris Masters Series events in the fall but I have not been told about the other tournaments yet.

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MARK!!! He is now 36 years old which is hard to believe! Hopefully he can get two wins on his birthday. It is also Daniel’s birthday too! So if you see them on the grounds in NY, be sure to wish them a Happy Birthday! A win over Dlouhy/Vizner would be fitting! And remember to check out the new forum!

Mark and Zi Yan defeated Andy Ram and Nathalie Dechy in the mixed doubles quarterfinals 6-4, 6-4 to move on to the semifinals!! They will face Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka for a spot in the final.

Mark and Daniel advanced to the quarterfinals at the US Open by defeating Justin Gimelstob and Amer Delic 6-3, 7-6!! They will now face Lukas Dlouhy and Pavel Vizner, whom they beat in the French Open final for a spot in the semifinals. However, Dlouhy/Vizner were able to get revenge on Knowles/Nestor in Cincinnati, so lets hope Mark and Daniel pay them back! Notable seeds to go out in Mark and Daniels half are the 3 seeds Bjorkman/Mirnyi and the 7 seeds Llodra/Clement. Good luck guys in the quarterfinals! Ellen Whitton of Florida sent a few great pictures of Mark from the match! Thank you Ellen!

Mark and Zi Yan advanced to the quarterfinals in the mixed doubles winning 6-7, 6-1, 10-5 over Aspelin/Uhlirova! James Carr of Georgia was kind enough to submit a couple pictures from the match. Thanks James!

Mark’s brother in law Scott sent a nice email to the webmaster letting him know that he and his friends enjoy the site and are regular visitors! He even went ahead and participated in the quiz competition! Here is Mark with two of his brother in laws. Scott is in the middle. Thanks for the kind words!

Mark earns career win # 600!!! He and Daniel won a match that looked lost in the 2nd set. After losing the first set in a tiebreaker, Knowles/Nestor then were down 1-3 in the 2nd set and it looked like Mark was going to have to wait for that elusive win. But the duo was able to turn the tables and get two breaks to win the set, and then they absolutely rolled over Vliegen/Allegro in the 3rd. The score was 6-7, 6-4, 6-1. Congratulations to Mark on achieving this terrific milestone! Hopefully photos and maybe an interview from the US Open site will be avaliable.
