Happy Thanksgiving to all of Mark's fans in the United States! Here is a message from Mark about winning the Masters Cup and what to look forward to next year. Please remember to voice your support by joining the forums and/or by signing the guestbook. Mark will be hosting his 7th Charity Invitational, which runs from December 7th-9th.
"This title is one of the big ones that have eluded us in the past, and to win it was so satisfying. We played a high level of tennis, probably our best all year and that goes to show what a great team we are. I think mine and Dan's accomplishments, our record, will speak for itself in the record books. We are one of the greatest doubles teams to ever play the game. There are a lot of teams out there that are quite happy that Knowles and Nestor are not playing together anymore."
"I also believe that when one door closes another opens and I'm excited to play with my new partner Mahesh Bhuphati in the New Year. He is an experienced Champion and former #1 in the world. We are going to having a great time!"

Welcome to the home of the new Masters Cup Doubles Champion!! Mark and Daniel played one of their best matches of the year and easily defeated Aspelin/Knowle 6-2, 6-3 to win their first Masters Cup title in three tries. This win caps an amazing 13 year partnership. What a way to go out! Congrats to both on a successful season. A big thank you to Kaye Yang for all of her wonderful post match photos. Mark and Daniel advanced to the final at the Masters Cup with a stunning three set win over Hanley/Ullyett!! They won 6-3, 6-7, 10-5. They had three match points in the 2nd set tiebreaker but were unable to capitalize. However, they each played beautifully in the Champions Tiebreaker. Mark hit a fantastic lob to put the team ahead 7-3 and give them a lead that would not be relinquished. They will face either Aspelin/Knowle, whom they beat in round robin play to determine the Masters Cup Champion! Kaye Yang attended the press conference again and sent over these great photos!

Mark and Daniel earned a berth into the semifinals at the Masters Cup depsite falling to Dlouhy/Vizner in three sets! Dlouhy/Vizner found a way to knock off Mark and Daniel for the third time in a row, winning a hard fought match 6-3, 4-6, 11-9. Mark and Daniel were up a break in the 2nd set before losing it, but then won an amazing game to break back and earn the set. Mark hit a spectacular stretch cross court volley at 5-4, 40-30, to get the game to a deciding point. Daniel then hit a forehand return winner to win the set. The Champions TB swayed back and forth but Dlouhy/Vizner pulled it out in the end. Mark took a rough tumble at 9-9, but he is thankfully ok.

Mark and Daniel greatly increased their chances of moving onto the semifinals at the Masters Cup after they defeated Aspelin/Knowle 6-3, 7-5 in their 2nd round robin match to move to 2-0 in their group! Their final round robin match will be against foes Dlouhy/Vizner, who have defeated Mark and Daniel the last two times they have face each other, most recently at the U.S. Open. Mark and Daniel came from behind to defeat Clement/Llodra 2-6, 7-5, 10-5 in their opening round robin match at the Masters Cup in Shanghai! The duo faced two match points at 4-5 on Daniel's serve in the 2nd set, but Nestor hit two aces to seal the game. From that point on, the momentum switched to Mark and Daniel and they went on to win! Below are some fantastic photos from the press conference which were kindly donated by Kaye Yang.

Kerr/Sa defeated Mark and Fabrice Santoro 6-3, 6-3 in the 2nd round of the Paris Masters Series. Mark and Fabrice had a chance to get back on serve at the end of the match but were unable to break their opponents with the two break points they had.
