Melo/Sa defeated Mark and Mahesh 7-5, 6-2 to win the title in New Haven.

Mark and Mahesh are the 4th seeds at the US Open and open with Brunstrom/Johansson in the 1st round. They are in the same quarter as the #5 seeds Aspelin/Knowle. The full draw can be found here.

Into another final! Mark and Mahesh won against Bolelli/Seppi 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 to advance to the final in New Haven. After going down a late break in the 2nd set, Mark and Mahesh fought well to win the 3rd set match tiebreaker. In the final, they'll play the Brazilian duo of Melo/Sa.

Mark and Mahesh defeated Butorac/Lipsky 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the semifinals in New Haven. They'll face Bolelli/Seppi next.

Mark and Mahesh are through to the quarters in New Haven with a convincing 6-2, 6-3 win over Gicquel/Mahut in the 1st round. They face Butorac/Lipsky for a spot in the semifinals next.

Bob and Mike Bryan knocked out Mark and Devin Mullings in the opening round of the Olympics doubles competition 6-2, 6-1. Mark played well, but the Bryans were too much for Mark and his inexperienced partner. Still, Mark successfully competed in his amazing 5th Olympic Games, an achievement that should be commended.

The Bryan Brothers defeated Mark and Mahesh in a tight three set encounter, winning 4-6, 7-6, 10-8 in the semifinals of AMS Cincinnati. Mark and Mahesh served for the match at 5-4 in the 2nd, but unfortunately were unable to close out the match. Still, it was a fantastic effort from them.

Back on track with a win! Mark and Mahesh defeated Mardy Fish and John Isner 7-5, 6-7, 12-10 in Cincinnati to win for the first time since April (not counting walkovers). It was a thrilling match and Mark came up with some big shots at the end of the Champions Tiebreaker to get the win. They'll face Bob and Mike Bryan next.

Mark and Mahesh are through to the quarterfinals in Cincinnati after the tandem of Berdych/Stepanek withdrew due to fatigue. They'll face Bjorkman/Ullyett or Fish/Isner next.

Dlouhy/Paes defeated Mark and Mahesh in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup, winning 6-4, 3-6, 10-5. Cincinnati is next on the schedule.

Fish/Roddick retired in the 2nd round of the Rogers Cup in Toronto, handing Mark and Mahesh a free pass into the quarterfinals. Fish cited a knee injury for the withdrawal.

Sadly. Mark and Mahesh weren't able to get out of the 1st round at Wimbledon, falling to Petzschner/Peya, who won 7-5, 6-2, 7-6. Now Mark will look to the mixed doubles event, where he is partnering Zi Yan.

Congratulations to Mark and Dawn as their 2nd son, Brody Mark Knowles, was born yesterday. He weighed in at nine pounds, six ounces. Brody weighed in at 9lbs. 6 oz, and 21.5 inches. Read all about Mark's thoughts on this very special occassion and also about Wimbledon here, at the ATP site.

Mark and Mahesh were unable to end their small losing streak, as they lost in the opening round at the French Open. Their opponents, Huss/Hutchins, won 6-4, 6-4. Mark still has the mixed doubles to contest.

Unfortunately, Mark and Mahesh had their 2nd straight early exit, as they went out to James Blake and Mardy Fish in the Hamburg Masters. Blake/Fish won 6-2, 6-3. Hopefully the guys can find their winning form at the next tournament, which is a big one, the French Open.

Mark and Mahesh fell to Lopez/Verdasco in the 2nd round of the Rome Masters. The Spainards won 6-7, 6-4, 10-7. It was the earliest exit for Mark and Mahesh since they lost their debut together in Sydney. Next up is the Hamburg Masters.
